Architecture of Knowledge

Posted 28th Mar 11 by in News

Artists, writers, thinkers, technologists & architects convene at Bethnal Green Library to consider library futures at No Furniture So Charming on 21st April. And the first wave of contributors have now been announced.

On the panel will be the British Library’s Nora Daly, Phillip Jones of The Bookseller, if:book’s Chris Meade and Charles Holland of FAT Architecture, with host, author and journalist Travis Elborough.

Presenters include:

  • Peter Law (Reader of books and Digital Producer)
  • Dan Thompson (Empty Shops Network)
  • Tom Armitage (Game designer and Technologist)
  • Nicky Kirk (Architect, Amenity Space)
  • Rachel Coldicutt (Creative Producer)

The full line-up so far can be seen here, but be warned – this beautiful East End library is small. Tickets are limited and very good value indeed, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Many thanks to the wonderful Katy Beale for all her incredible work.
